Breakfast At The Duck & Waffle...
|
Anyone done this?
Just booked it up. Looks pretty good...
Can't say I wouldn't prefer a McD's though. The king of breakfast.

Took the missus on a weekend, expensive for what it is, but enjoyed the experience and found the food to be decent.

The Paramount is better value and has better views (though it may be shut currently as theyre doing up centre point before Crossrail starts up).

I've been there for dinner and thought it was bang average, but someone told me the other day about the Elvis and now I quite fancy going there for breakfast to try it:

Took my daughter there in the summer (yep, Dad paying). Had the D&W and also the champagne with Marmite reduction.
Food nice and great views from window table but very expensive. Not as dear as the bar in The Shard though.

We'll this experience is wasted on you, if you think a McDonald's breakfast is champion.

Been there a few times (used to book the private room on the south side which has the views). Its ok - nothing really special about the food but worth a trip to say you've done it, if nothing else. And of course its expensive - cant imagine the rent is cheap.

I took a client there in June and had a great view towards Stratford the lift up has a great view but the breakfast is a lot for what you actually get
My client had the duck and waffle which didn't look very appetising but she eat it all, no surprise there though as she's a big girl

£15 for a fry up that is probably tiny?
Rather go to Wetherspoons, but enjoy,

what you get for your money is pathetic, and youre surrounded by wanky City types. Especially this time of year the view will not be that great in any case. A much better view can be found at the walkie talkie building, and if you value a quality breakfast, Goodmans shits all over it.

I have no few what it is but I'm guessing from the sound of it that it's pretentious and overhyped
